On to our February challenge!
And in honor of our crafters who are sailing away with our fearless leader Sandy today (the cruise sets sail!)....this month we're having a challenge to USE YUMMY RIBBON on your card! You know how much she loves it....so let's see how many creative uses we can come up with for ribbon.

You have until March 2nd at midnight to get your card linked up before the March challenge is posted on the 3rd. And the prize? ODBD is offering TWO generous $25 gift certificates for prizes!

Bonus prize for our heroes:
Our Daily Bread Designs will be making a shipping donation based on the number of cards in the InLinkz (only one entry per person!) - ODBD will sponsor one large box of cards for every 25 cards linked to the challenge post, with a maximum of 2 boxes per month. So be sure to tell all your friends to come and enter the challenge too!

Here's this month's inspiration from the ODBD gallery....this should get everyone's mojo on!

Those cards are gorgeous! Are they square? If so, can we make square cards to send in our boxes? And if so, what size? Sorry, I'm still learning what I can, or can't do!!!
HUGS,
Ellen

Great question. The Bottom cards are square. Those are samples of beautiful cards using the technique called for in the challenge, but they are from the ODBD gallery. The cards above that are ones by OWHers from last months challenge and they are both A2 sized. They fit best in our boxes so OWH requires them. You can read more about it here: http://operationwritehome.org/guidelines.html

Fabulous cards! Thanks so much for sharing! I wonder if it's possible to put a NOTE above this post, directly others to the OWH BLOG SKIP. I'm afraid that since it's NOT the main post today, some people could miss it.

THANKS !!

Thanks ODB for sponsoring boxes this month.

Ellen, if you want to make square cards, you can make them 4.25" square so they fit in A2 envelopes. Hope that helps!
