Happy Hour: Hero Arts stamp blog skip!

As part of our 'release week,' we decided to host a blog skip....and to make it at happy hour, 5pm on the East Coast, since any time we get creative is the time that makes us happy! So glad you could join us!!

We've been giving away some of the new Hero Arts/OWH stamp sets all week long, and today is no different....we've got one of each of the sets to pass out this weekend as you skip along! On Sunday night we'll draw the three winners randomly from comments made on all the blogs...so the more blogs you comment on, the better your chances to win!*

*If you're one of the lucky ones who got to go to a release party, and you already have the stamps, you can comment and note that you have them - and if your number comes up, we've got a different prize for you. Then we can draw an extra name for the HA stamps :)
Our sample card here uses the Right at Home (CL583) set of stamps, and the patterned papers are by Authentique, Ribbon by May Arts, border punch by Martha Stewart, nestabilities by Spellbinders. The house was colored with Copics - first coloring the whole of the image stamped on cream paper, then going overtop it with an E31 marker to create the 'bricks.'

Here are the rest of the blogs...go get started, and leave lots of love!
And in addition....we'll award one extra set of stamps to one lucky winner drawn from Inlinkz below....so post a CASE of one of the cards shown on any blog on the skip - using different stamps is perfectly fine - and we'll pick an extra winner Sunday night! (and if we get 50+ cards entered, we'll draw TWO winners. One entry per person please!)

I'm starting to recognize the cool hole-punched border as a Sandy trademark. Love this card!

love, love, love your card. Genius to create the bricks.

Even though I do have the stamp sets, please keep me in the drawing.. my mom doesn't have the sets since there are no more LSS stores in her area. blessings ~ Pam

Very cool effect with the bricks! What a great skip this was...makes me want these stamp sets even more. If I don't win though, I have to wait for my LSS owner to order them. I've put in my request to her, so we'll see what happens. :-)

Jen M  – (December 16, 2011 at 8:03 PM)

Love the sample card, sandy! These stamps are awesome, thanks for the chance to win!

Rufus  – (December 16, 2011 at 8:39 PM)

All three sets are awesome. It was a fun skip, great cards all along the path. Clocks are still my favorite, but this card is sure a winner!

Berni Cuttino  – (December 16, 2011 at 8:44 PM)

I case after Yolanda, (Imagine Make Sure), I do not have any Hero Arts stamps, so I used paper and cut out the hearts to make an envelope of hearts. Please keep in the challenge. Thank you

Samantha  – (December 16, 2011 at 8:46 PM)

Beautiful card! Love the border punch at the bottom, the hearts along the side, and how you colored the house to be a brick house - so cute!

Karen McAlpine  – (December 17, 2011 at 4:10 AM)

Yup, I think my fav among the new Penny Black stamps is this little house. But, the clock is great too. I certainly could while away the hours making cards with these images. (No pun intended. LOL) Great hop.

Trish  – (December 17, 2011 at 6:32 AM)

Great card, can't wait to get my hands on that stamp set. Love the bricks on the house.

Great skip! Had a wonderful time going through it more than once. Skip's are a great size to do that with. Thank you ladies for the inspiration!

Aundria B.  – (December 18, 2011 at 10:12 PM)

I attended a HA catalog party at my LSS, Stamp Your Heart out in Claremont, CA today and it was so much fun! There were demos, a make and take and it was neat to actually see these stamps we've been teased about for weeks now! I bought 3 sets and 1 background stamp: Right at Home (yay, OWH!); Border Messages; XO; and the Leaf & Floral background. It was so hard to choose and I'll definitely be purchasing more in the months to come and am looking forward to making some more cards!
