Great tutorial and thanks so much for the financial update! If anyone is looking for Kristina Werner's recent patterned paper series that Sandy mentioned, here is the link:http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?cat=43Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm grateful for our troops and their families and for OWH.
Thanks for posting the link Cindy - I meant to add it to the post but it was late so I went to bed before finishing :)
Sandy, THANK YOU so much for all YOU do!I loved the story you shared about the contrast with the soldiers, it is sooo very true. I think sometimes, we Americans, take that exact safety for granted. we wouldn't never in our wildest nightmares, I think, conceive of our own armies, busting into our homes by dark of night, and doing all the nasty deeds that these corrupt forces do. What a great reminder for us all! These cards are all FAB! I think we must share some common taste as the Ornament card is also my favorite one, and I too LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this sketch! The papers you chose are perfect, and the distressed edges and the stitching are just the perfect ending touch!I have been paper crafting for years, and still sometimes stumble on the paper mixing, so I THOROUGHLY enjoyed and walked away with some new knowledge from your great TUT!I also want to say that I LOVE how you pulled the ribbon through the paper on the last card, what a cool idea! Lastly....MARVELOUS coloring on that nativity image!YOU are on FIRE!!! WOOT!Thanks for giving up some of YOUR TG celebration to come do something for us!Hope your day is Blessed!Susan
Thanks so much for your feedback on this blog...all of our cardmakers featured here LOVE hearing from you!
