Welcome to October, Cardmakers! Did you have a great World Cardmaking Day? Are you still hopping around the blog? Lots of great ideas for holiday cards, aren't there?
Due to a goofup - Kathie's blog had a linking problem. Please go visit and leave her some bloghop love!
I have a great sketch for you today, and a free digi as well, courtesy of our friends at Sew Many Cards.
First up, the sketch - don't be intimidated by the diamond shape! It's only a square, turned on its corner!
Our samples this week were made by the awesome Carol. Aren't they great? Carol doesn't have a blog so please leave some love for her on this post. We appreciate the great sample cards, Carol! My favorite is the one with the chair - so cute!
But wait, there's more! We have a free digi for you! Here it is, in both a pre-colored version and a black line version. Click on the images to make them big before downloading to your computer.
And just so you can see it in action, here's a sample card using this digi and today's sketch, made by yours truly!
Ok, folks, if that isn't enough inspiration, I don't know what is! Get crafty and be sure and come back here to share with us!
To play along in this week's sketch challenge, simply upload a project using this week's sketch to your blog or online gallery then leave the link to that entry using the Inlinkz widget at the bottom of this post. And remember, you may use this sketch at any time. Feel free to re-post the sketch on your blog along with your card… then come back and leave a link for us so we may all see your cards!
We encourage everyone to take a few moments to visit and leave comments for the other participants. Comments are a wonderful way to say thank you for sharing your creative project and inspires everyone to create.
