Birthday Bash 2011: Day 3...We R Keeping an Eye on You!

Today's challenge "We R Keeping an Eye on You!", hosted right here on S&S, is to make a card with eyelets on it (brads if you have no eyelets) - how creative can YOU get with them?  Here are two samples to get you started - both using great papers by We R!

A row of eyelets...

And a brad holding together a spinner card! Possible class for our cruise :)

Our sponsor for today, We R Memory Keepers, is offering a CROPADILE KIT as a prize! How much fun would THAT be to win! You have one week to get your entry linked up - the winner will be announced next Saturday right here on S&S!

Sandy (OWH) and Bonnie (We R) at CHA, July 2011
We R Memory Keepers ran a huge contest this summer called Operation We R Grateful - and they collected over 45,000 cards! What an amazing amazing success - thank you to We R, their marketing manager Bonnie Randall, and all the retailers who participated.

We R doesn't have a blog *yet!*, so leave some love on this post for them. Let's show them what OWHers think of such patriotic companies who go the extra mile in support of our nation's heroes!

Thank you WeR for supporting OWH! I could not live without my Crop-A-Dile. I pretty sure it's the most important crafting tool besides a paper cutter to many fellow Crafters too.

Wow. Thanks for the support and inspiration. I'm just learning how and gain so much from challenges and blog hops.

Wow, wow, wow...America needs more WeR's!!

What a great prize offered by a GREAT sponsor! Thank you!

I don't have a Crop-A-Dile but have tons if eyelets that I never think to use anymore. Maybe this prize could change all that!

I'm glad you gave us this challenge, because I always forget to use my eyelets and they look great! Thanks WeR for all you do for OWH!

I had a baby shower to attend, and a gift card that I planned to give, along with a little album I created. So I created my own envie for the GC.

OOPS! Something went wrong when I tried to load my image link. I can't seem to correct it. Please help! Thanks, Donna Schwartz

I managed to enter it correctly but I don't know how to get rid of the mistake. How do I do that or does the administrator need to do that?

Lynn  – (September 4, 2011 at 2:53 PM)

What a neat challenge! I sure could use one of those Cropadiles since my big hammer sure makes a mess of things! LOL! Thanks for sponsoring a challenge for OWH!

Robin  – (September 4, 2011 at 6:28 PM)

Great challenge for me! I haven't used eyelets in years
thanks for the chance to win a cropadile, I could use it.

Dawn C.  – (September 4, 2011 at 11:44 PM)

This challenge was not only fun but a real challenge for me as I struggle with eyelets and/or brads. However, I had to muddle through in order to win a chance at that awesome Cropadile Kit! Thanks to We R Memory Keepers for sponsoring this challenge!!

Ann  – (September 5, 2011 at 1:18 PM)

Thank you WeR for always supporting OWH!! You Rock!!

Carol  – (September 9, 2011 at 4:33 AM)

I can't wait to try a card later for this challenge. I will have to use brads instead of eyelets though because I have never tried eyelets. I will have to be sure and find out how to use them.
