Blog Skip: Supply kit

Goooooood morning everyone! Today we're bringing you a brand new online event, a blog "skip!" You already know what a hop is....a skip is a really short version of a hop. The hops tend to get reallllly long, and a lot of folks would like some options for a shorter set of inspiration cards. So we have a small group of bloggers who have taken on an assignment - to use a provided set of supplies pictured below, and go make a card with it. It'll be exciting to see what everyone came up with!

One other announcement: We're having another BLOGHOP! It'll be March 5th, and signups start TODAY at http://operationwritehome.org/bloghop.html!

We hope you like this "skip" - we have one planned every other month for a while, and we'll feature different bloggers each time. So get to your first stop, and don't forget to come back here when you're done and let us know what you think!
has been masterminding the planning, and she's the first stop on the skip - so be sure to leave her some love and thanks!

Here's the list of the 10 blogs participating in this skip, in case you get lost:
  1. Barb

  3. Cindy

very interesting to see how different everyone's cards are, using same stuff. I skipped to everyone's, two were not posted yet. I'll try to get back to theirs later.

Love the idea of the skip. I enjoyed how everyone had the same to start and they all came out so differently. Already looking forward to the next skip.

What a fun idea! Check Cora's link--I think the last character got changed from an 'm' to a '/'

Now off to hop!

I enjoyed everyone's cards! I also like it when everyone's cards are on the same page, it helps me visually! Thanks for the skip on this winter day!

What a fabulous idea!! With only a short time off work today, I was still able to skip. I love looking at all the cards this talented group makes!!

Marianne  – (February 12, 2011 at 3:02 PM)

This skip was loads of fun. It has left me time to do some creating!
Thanks Barb for setting this all up.

That was SO MUCH fun and for me (with Fibro) I hardly ever have a chance to take part in any blog hops, as the computer time and typing quickly does me in....

This was just about perfect and it was a joy to see that you all started with the same kit and made such fun and special cards!

Happy I made it through--Thanks!!
Lis

PS: Please consider shutting off Word verification -- it's a blessing for me when it's turned OFF! :)

This was fun to go through and see how every one used the same supplies so differently. The short list made it easy to do late at night too.
