Holiday Vacation Challenge #2: Winter's last hurrah!

And the winner of Challenge #1: Ann M!! You can see her entry on her blog at SeeGramma's Cards. Congratulations, Ann!

The rest of the world might just be getting started on winter...but y'all know here at OWH, we're ahead of the times! So this is a challenge to get going on using up winter stamped images and papers! Our timelines are many weeks ahead - so cards sent out in early January will make it to our heroes by the end of the month and be sent home in by early-to-mid-January, we'll be starting early spring cards!

This birthday card sample uses a paper piecing technique - the sweater, gloves, and hat portions were cut apart and run through a cuttlebug with different patterns, and the image was glued back together. There are more paper piecing ideas here. (Cards for this challenge don't need to use this technique.)

Participants in the challenge will be entered into a drawing for these goodies - swirl stamps and designer borders donated by EK Success! Post your card on Facebook or use our InLinkz widget below by midnight PST!

These are wonderful...wish I had time to participate, but family will come first this week. However, I managed to get 48 cards to go out for Valentines' OWH.
