I'm totally awestruck by all the amazing talent shared right here on the Stars and Stamps blog. Week after week all of you take on our challenges and give back the BEST creations ever!!! I think all of you deserve a HUGE pat on the back and then some!
Before we present this week's color challenge, let's take a look at all the participants' cards from last weeks theme challenge. To see details about their cards or to visit their blogs… please click on their names in the original post. Many thanks to all who played along with us this week!
Color Challenge: Your Favorite Color
I don't know about all of you but I sure seem to reach for the same colors time and time again! This week instead of challenging you to create a card using some of my favorite colors I thought it would be more fun to see what all of your favorite colors are!
So, this week's color challenge is to create any card using YOUR FAVORITE COLOR! And if you have more than one favorite color, feel free to make a card using each of your favorite colors or better yet, combine them and make a card using all of your favorite colors.
On top of all that, you ladies are in for a real treat because today's sample card will not only inspire you to use your favorite color but it was also created using this week's sketch challenge. How awesome is that!!!
This week's gorgeous sample card was created by Jan Hunnicutt. Thank you, Jan, for the beautiful card and for using this week's sketch challenge in creating it. To see more of Jan's fabulous card creations, please visit her blog, She's Gone Stampin.
Jan's favorite colors used in today's card creation are:
My cardstock names are weird because I usually buy it by the ream but here goes, Mohawk Via Linen Citron, Sorbet Blue Ice & Papertrey Ink Hibiscus Burst. Stampin' Up! Pixie Pink, Gable Green & Tempting Turquoise would be pretty close to those. I used the colors in the strip of designer paper.
To play along in this week's color challenge, simply upload a project to your blog or online gallery then leave a direct link to your project in the Mister Linky widget at the bottom of this post. When a NEW challenge is posted next week, we'll include photos of the cards that used this challenge before then!
We'll also select one of the participant's from this week's color challenge to create a sample card for next month's color challenge. To be considered though, please make sure to include your email address in your blog profile or somewhere on your blog so we are able to contact you.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you join in the fun!
A note for those who join us for multiple challenges; Be sure to copy the FULL url for the whole blog post to copy into Mister Linky.
