Stash Challenge: Hardware

Last month we challenged all of you to dig out your favorite flowers! This week we are gearing up to play with more of our condiments. I'm guessing that somewhere in your stash you have a few pieces of what I call "Hardware" hanging around. Hardware is any metal embellishment including brads, eyelets, hinges, photo corners, paper clips, ribbon slides, bookplates, photo hangers, edge anchors or other metal charms.

This week's stash challenge is to create any card using hardware.  You may use as much or as little hardware as you'd like just so you use some hardware and have lots of fun doing so!!!

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Add a brad or other metal embellishment in the center of a flower.
  • Attach a paper clip or shaped clip on the edge of your cardstock or patterned paper with some ribbon tied in a knot or pretty bow.
  • Wrap ribbon around the card base and through a ribbon clip finishing it off with a knot or pretty bow.
  • Align some brads around a circle image or in a fancy swirl.
Congratulations, Holley, on being the first to complete this week's stash challenge.  Love the fancy hardware and your card is stunning!!!  To see more of Holley's beautiful artwork, please visit her blog, Holley's Hobbies.  Thanks again, Holley, for the beautiful sample card!

Not the first to complete this week’s stash challenge, that’s OK! Be one of the first ten to complete the challenge and we’ll randomly select someone form the first ten to be featured in next month’s stash challenge. Once there are ten links below we’ll randomly select someone and send them a top secret email with all the juicy details!!!
